Every now and think I’m badass enough to get a tattoo, but let’s face it…I’m a kitten. On the other hand, I am badass enough to wear nylons that look like a tattoo. This DIY turned out fantastic; I got so many compliments! Temperatures are rising, so hurry up and “get some ink” before it’s open-toe-shoe-weather!!
I used Hanes Silk Reflections because they look like I’m sporting a bare leg, not to mention the control top sucked me in without cutting off circulation. Control top is the way to go, guys. Especially on a fat day. So comfortable. And from someone who typically avoids sheer nylons because they remind me of old lady stockings, the Silk Reflections line was light; a thin layer that covers the leg so it looks smooth. Just see how natural my gams look.
- 1-Tape design to cardboard insert to use as stencil and insert into leg of Hanes natural nylons
- 2-Use Sharpie to trace the design
- 3-Allow time to dry
- 4-Carefully remove insert and wear :)
**Disclosure**
Hanes provided me with samples from their Sheer Reflections line to share a look of my choice on my blog. All opinions are my own.

So very creative. I have always loved Haynes Silk Reflections too. Great combo.
I love these Kari! I have literally been looking for something like this since 2008 but have never found the perfect pair. Now I can just make them on my own :)
So glad you are inspired!!
